Super lightness is one highlighted advantage of the SUFLEXIUM™. The alloy is a very light metal with a specific density of 2.25 to 2.7g/cm3, it is desity of ¼ of copper and 1/3 that of steel, giving wearer a much lighter feel on the face.

Corrosion Resistance

SUFLEXIUM™ resist corrosion from facial acids, and retains its color much better than other types of metals used in eyeglasses frames. It is highly resistant to most environments and naturally generates a protective oxide coating. Although the oxide film is extremely thin, between 50 to 100 Angstroms, it forms a protective barrier between the metal and the surrounding medium as soon as the metal comes into contact with oxidizing environment, such as water, snow and moisture.


SUFLEXIUM™ is more durable and resistant than conventional metals allowing wearers to confidently embrace every challenge without hesitation. It is also low-maintenance, which requires less maintenance than other metals.
